The Trimblender scope for Keyera Corp. included designing a green field infrastructure which allowed for the injection of condensate and butane into a High Viscosity Dilbit pipeline with associated blending, custody transfer metering and quality control equipment. The Trimblender was designed so that the new infrastructure would target 100% availability and reliability.
MODULAR SEVERE SERVICE PRESSURE LETDOWN STATIONS
Tridyne was retained to provide a repeatable modular design for two configurations (Horizontal & Vertical) on High Pressure (2500# ANSI), High Temperature (408°C) Refinery letdown skids. In addition to the initial design, Tridyne is in the design phase to produce five stations for a Refinery in India.
OSBL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT
The Outside Battery Limit (OSBL) project provides storage and transfer capability to support the proposed Diluent Recovery Unit (DRU) near the Gibson Hardisty Terminal (GHT) located near Hardisty, Alberta.
SOUTH TAYLOR TRD
This project consisted of a green field design and construction of a new Treatment Recovery and Disposal plant that included site civil development, truck unloading and metering of heavy oil and water, value added solid and liquid waste processing and storage.
HIGHWAY TRUCK LOADING PROJECT
This project included the installation of two new pipelines from a proposed new facility to an existing Treatment Recovery and Disposal (TRD) facility. The distance from the Highway Terminal to the existing TRD is approximately 7.5 kilometers. The pipelines were designed for sour service and continuous service throughout the winter.
MOOSE JAW REFINERY EXPANSION FEED
The scope of the project included the addition of a 4700 BPD Combined Gas Oil Separation Unit into the Gibson Energy Moose Jaw Facility located in the city of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
VALHALLA SOUR GAS PLANT EXPANSION
Kanata Energy Group Ltd. commissioned Tridyne Projects to full EPCM for the expansion of the existing Valhalla gas plant located at 13-21-76-09-W6M from a current throughput of 12mmscfd to 45mmscfd.
STOUGHTON RAIL LOADING STATION
Crescent Point required the installation of rail truck loading equipment at their site which included the construction of a new single spur approximately 700 feet in length, along with installation of eight (8) dual sided loading stations that allow loading on both existing and proposed tracks with maximum loading capacity of 60,000 bbl/day (9,539 m3/day).
VIEWFIELD RAIL LOADING FACILITY
Constructed a facility to load C3, C4, and C5 via pipelines from the Viewfield gas plant. In addition, there would be at least one crude oil line connected to the facility. A full-scale truck rack was connected at the rail facility.
BUCK CREEK TRD
This project included the green field design and construction of a new Treatment, Recovery and Disposal (TRD) facility for Tervita Buck Creek property.
The facility was designed to receive heavy clean oil, light clean oil and condensate feeds via truck and blend continuously to the Pembina LACT unit. Design blending rates were for 520 m3/day.
