Highway Truck Loading Project

Project Overview

This project included the installation of two new pipelines from a proposed new facility to an existing Treatment Recovery and Disposal (TRD) facility. The distance from the Highway Terminal to the existing TRD is approximately 7.5 kilometers. The pipelines were designed for sour service and continuous service through winter.

The new Highway Facility included five truck risers in an overhead bridge and a Tank Farm consisting of an Emulsion Tank, Light Clean Oil Tank, Sweet Produced Water Tank and Sour Produced Water Tank. No Tank Farm building was provided at the new facility. Piping in the Tank Farm was enclosed in insulated utilidor panels with insulated utilidor panels connecting to the tanks to provide weather protection for the valves. An Office/Ops/Ticket Office was provided.
