Buck Creek TRD

The project included the green field design and construction of a new Treatment, Recovery and Disposal (TRD) facility for Tervita Buck Creek property.

The facility was designed to receive heavy clean oil, light clean oil and condensate feeds via truck and blend continuously to the Pembina LACT unit. Design blending rates were for 520 m3/day.

The design focused on creating modular shop built components to accelerate field construction.

Produced water is also received at the facility, tank treated, then shipped by a 200hP positive displacement pump via the newly installation produced water pipeline to the new disposal well. The pipeline is approximately 5 km of 4” internally lined-externally coated steel pipeline.
