{"id":2144,"date":"2022-04-06T12:17:41","date_gmt":"2022-04-06T18:17:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tridyne.ca\/?page_id=2144"},"modified":"2025-09-16T10:02:55","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T16:02:55","slug":"pipeline-project-mwh","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tridyne.ca\/index.php\/pipeline-project-mwh\/","title":{"rendered":"7.0 Pipeline Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\tMWH Pipeline\n\t<\/h1>\n<h2>\n\t\tProject Overview\n\t<\/h2>\n<p>Cenovus Energy retained Tridyne Projects Corporation to provide engineering,\u00a0procurement, regulatory and construction support for the installation of a new pipeline system and\u00a0facility tie-ins as part of the brackish water supply expansion.<\/p>\nThe project included the repurpose and reversal of an existing 28km, NPS 12 disposal pipeline, 3.8km of<br \/>\nnew NPS 12 pipeline, installation of a High Density Polyethylene liner into the below ground pipe and new<br \/>\nduplex stainless steel above ground facilities for the conversion into a brackish water service. Existing<br \/>\nbelowground expansion loops had to be replaced with straight pipe and several pull point flanges welded<br \/>\non for the installation of the HDPE liner.\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tridyne.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-3.jpg\" alt=\"1-3\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"1-3\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>The scope of work included the review of an existing pipeline integrity program, procurement support of\u00a0the Inline Inspection tool vendor, preparation support for the smart tool runs (DEF, GMFL, XYZ), an\u00a0engineering assessment of the inspection results, and an integrity plan consisting of verification digs,\u00a0physical inspection methods, and pipe repairs.<\/p>\n<p>Tridyne also completed a transient hydraulic analysis of the converted system with varying MOPs,\u00a0construction alignment sheets, multiple AER shapefiles and applications, material procurement, 3rd party\u00a0material inspections and logistics coordination.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tridyne.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"1-2\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"1-2\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tridyne.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-4.jpg\" alt=\"1-4\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"1-4\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MWH Pipeline Project Overview Cenovus Energy retained Tridyne Projects Corporation to provide engineering,\u00a0procurement, regulatory and construction support for the installation of a new pipeline system and\u00a0facility tie-ins as part of the brackish water supply expansion.
